Rituparna Biswas

Rituparna Biswas began her theatre journey with Siliguri Theatre Academy and earned an M.A. in Drama (Acting) from Rabindra Bharati University. A full-time theatre practitioner with Amta Parichay under the mentorship of Subhendu Bhandari, she has over two decades of experience in theatre. Her solo productions “Eladidi” and “Savitribai Phule” have been performed more than 640 and 255 times respectively. As an actor, playwright, director, and trainer, she works extensively with children, especially from rural and marginalized communities. Her honours include the "Satti Tarar Khoje Award" (2018), "LIFT India Theatre Honour" (2019), Keya Chakraborty Smarak Samman "(2024), and "Tanveer Natyadharmi Award" (2024).

Dr. Gaurav Das

Dr. Gaurav Das is a Kolkata-based theatre practitioner, playwright, director, actor, designer, researcher, and arts educator. Trained under the legendary theatre director Usha Ganguly, he is the Artistic Director of Santoshpur Anuchintan and founder of the Anuchintan Art Centre. Holding a PhD in Biological Sciences (Oncology), he uniquely bridges art, social engagement, and academic inquiry. His work explores themes of gender, sexuality, marginality, disability, folk traditions, and social justice through performance. Gaurav has created over 40 theatre productions, performed internationally, and received the prestigious Gender Bender Grant 2023 for his innovative interdisciplinary artistic practice.

Somudranil Sarkar

Somudranil Sarkar, a writer, playwright, translator, and theatre practitioner with twenty-six years of stage experience. He has directed and acted in over 100 plays, earning the Azhar Alam Young Director’s Award. He trained under Bengali theatre stalwarts like Rudraprasad Sengupta, Debshankar Halder, and mime guru Jogesh Dutta. Sarkar frequently curates theatre and pantomime workshops. As a writer, he has published the story collections C/O Bonolata Sen and Leonard Cohen and I, alongside translating Tagore's My Growing Years. His acclaimed writing appears in Scroll.in, World Literature Today, and Strange Horizons.
